The White Room Gallery Hosted an Artist Reception for This Is Different

(Bridgehampton, NY – July 20, 2021) – On Tuesday, July 13th, The White Room Gallery, voted the best gallery in the Hamptons by Dan’s Papers “Best of the Best” hosted an artist reception for Linda Colletta’s solo exhibition This is Different, which was on view at the Bridgehampton gallery through July 18th.

Over 50 guests, enjoyed cocktails and bites as they walked through the beautiful gallery space, admiring Linda’s large-scale abstract works from her Drop Cloth collection, where she intricately weaves together the industrial, the found and the ephemeral in a candidly organic method. Selected works on display included A Cup of Something Frothy, Blue Jeans I & II, and Queen of the Night.

Among those in attendance included co-owners and directors of The White Room Gallery Andrea McCafferty and Kat O’Neill, Holiday House’s Iris Danker, Linda’s husband Nick Colletta, Art Advisor Danielle Ogden from Fairfield University and interior designer Melanie Roy.

Colletta’s works will next be featured at the upcoming Market Art + Design fair with The White Room Gallery. Her pieces will be spotlighted alongside artists Cabell Molina, Nelson De La Nuez, Russell Young, Craig Alan, Mr. Brainwash, TRAN$PARENT, Jane Waterous, Seek One, Sylvie Perrin, Lynn Savarese, Martha McAleer, Chad Knight, Joseph Kraham, and James Leonard at the White Room booth from August 12th through August 15th.

The White Room is located at 2415 Main Street Bridgehampton, NY 11932.
