THE BOX THEATER: An Incredible Evening Full of Live Performance Art By Michel Abboud & Opera with The Metropolitan National Council

NEW YORK, New York – On the evening of Saturday, April 13th, The Box hosted a completely sold out and incredible night full of entertainment including a live art performance by NOISE client and renowned artist and architect, Michel Abboud, who painted to the operatic sounds from Verdi’s La Traviata by the stars of the Metropolitan Opera National Council. The venue hosted over 350 attendees with all proceeds from the night benefiting The Sing For Hope Foundation, an organization activating creativity in schools, hospitals, refugee camps, and public spaces for millions of people worldwide.

The benefit event was presented by Michel Abboud, Anna Zarro, and FAYMOUS productions, as well as associate produced by NOISE. Michel Abboud’s effortless live art performance took the gaze of every single guest from the beginning of the night until the very end. Michel’s blank canvas developed into a beautiful abstract masterpiece, with vibrant hues of blue, yellow, and red. Later in the night, his piece was auctioned off for over $15,000; an anonymous donor doubled the offer to $30,000, which all benefited the Sing For Hope Foundation.
The magnificent opera singers from the night featured Inna Dukach as Violetta, Roy Hage as Alfredo, and Paul La Rosa as Germont. Other cast members included Emily Misch, Terrance Chin-Joy, Jessica Fishenfeld, Alaysha Fox, Jorell Williams, and Maya Yahav Gour. The stunning sounds of Inna Dukach echoed throughout the space, given only five days time to dominate her role as Violetta in Dumas’ inspired version of ‘The Lady of Camellias.’ Roy Hage and Paul La Rosa’s vocal and artistic talent were also both brilliant and profound.
