During a glamourous New York City night, compassion was celebrated! Aidan Rizvi, the Founder of Peace Panda, extends universal nurturing to children forced to experience reality altered by adults who have lost their minds using money raised in a pursuit of creativity.

Rizvi built and auctioned off giant 3D origami panda bears that each took him more than 9 hours to make with nearly 600 notecards and 1,200 folds. The event raised more than $14,000. The money he raised went to help fuel Children in Conflict.
Children in Conflict is an organization working tirelessly to protect, educate, and advocate for children caught in conflict zones around the world. Their efforts ensure that children have the chance to live free from the horrors of war and to just be kids. At just 12 years old, Rizvi embodies the spirit of “children helping children,” reminding us all of the powerful impact we can have.
Since the fall of 2017, when Children in Conflict was officially launched at New York City’s Global Citizen Festival by their ambassador Marcus Mumford and his band, Mumford and Sons, the organization has been guided by the belief that no child should ever be a part of war. Over the last 7 years, they’ve continued to create impactful fundraising and awareness events in NYC and beyond through partnerships with the arts. The funds raised through these initiatives have helped to transform the lives of the children living through crisis, conflict, and war across the world.
Children in Conflict is grateful to have collaborated incredible fashion, entertainment, foundation and corporate brands who have each contributed to Children in Conflict in many ways including event sponsorships, bringing Children in Conflict on board as a charity partner, donating products or services in-kind, or designing beautiful pieces of clothing.
