New York City Chefs Come Together to Encourage Kids With a Night of Serving Up Smiles at Chlesea Piers

New York, NY 2016 – September 2016 – enCourage Kids Foundation is hosting their 2nd annual Serving Up Smiles Tasting Event on Monday, October 24, 2016, at CURRENT, Chelsea Piers’ newest venue located at Pier 59 18th Street & Hudson River, NYC. Red Carpet will begin at 6:00pm and arrivals from6:30pm– 9:30pm.

Master of Ceremonies, Culinary Bad Boy – Chef Chris Nirschel, will emcee an exciting evening and bring awareness for the 275,000 children and families that enCourage Kids Foundation serves, supports and uplifts. Proceeds from this event will help kids facing health challenges to be carefree kids by creating environments and experiences that help them through each step of their medical journey. “We are incredibly excited and appreciative to have the enthusiasm of these amazing chefs and restaurants who are supportive of our mission. We’re looking forward to an incredibly successful evening,” says Michele Hall-Duncan, Executive Director, enCourage Kids Foundation. Live Wire Entertainment will provide music and the attendees can mix and mingle with the city’s hottest chefs and sample signature dishes, delectable cocktails and delicious wines from an elite roster of restaurants. The silent auction will include trips to exotic locations, tickets to various sporting events and restaurant gift certificates for all to enjoy.
