Jean and Martin Shafiroff, hosted a Thanksgiving Toy Drive for the NYC Mission Society on Tuesday November 22 at their Park Avenue home.
Over 75 guests including NYC Mission Society Director Elsie McCabe Thompson, Anne Dexter Jones, Cornelia Bregman, Tracy Stern and Janna Bullock began their holiday week by enjoying champagne and canapes with the philanthropist and her financier husband.
Additional guests including Aurelien Gallet, Margo Langenberg, Cassandra Seidenfeld, Elizabeth Kabler, Maggie Norris, Geoffrey Bradfield, Ann Rapp, TRUE Model Management’s Dale Noelle, Victor de Souza, Edgar Batista and Darold Cuba, Hilary and George Gurley, Michael Kaplan and Lee Fryd helped donate over 200 presents to children in need.
Jean Shafiroff sits on the board of the NYC Mission Society, and has held multiple fundraisers for them. She is also the author of “Successful Philanthropy: How to Make a Life by What You Give.”
