HRH Crown Prince Alexander and HRH Crown Princess Katherine of Serbia hosted the Annual Lifeline New York Benefit Dinner

Lifeline Humanitarian Organization was founded in 1993 as a response to the humanitarian crisis in the former Yugoslavia. Their mission is to alleviate the suffering of physically and mentally disabled children, orphans, and the elderly, while also improving medical facilities in the country.

During a dinner event, HRH Crown Prince Alexander addressed the guests, highlighting the importance of Lifeline’s work. HRH Crown Princess Katherine expressed gratitude to her husband and all involved with the Lifeline Foundation. She emphasized that her humanitarian efforts for Serbia began three decades ago by providing medical equipment to the University Children’s Hospital in Belgrade.

Children’s health and well-being have been central to her humanitarian activities and the work of the Lifeline foundation. Crown Princess Katherine acknowledged the challenging situation faced by children’s hospitals in Serbia and emphasized the need for proper equipment to ensure doctors and nurses can provide appropriate care to sick children.

During the event, HRH Crown Prin`cess Katherine emphasized the significance of supporting children in Serbia. Humanitarian items, including clothing, paintings, and portraits, were generously donated and then auctioned off to raise funds for the cause.


In addition to the meaningful speeches and auction, the attendees were treated to a captivating musical performance by singer Gwyneth Giangrande and pianist Nick Guerrero.
