Harriette Rose Katz Hosts The Chosen Few’s 2nd Anniversary & New Member Induction Ceremony at The Rainbow Room

Harriette Rose Katz, President & Founder of The Chosen Few, New York City’s elite society of event professionals, celebrated the group’s second anniversary and welcomed three new members at The Rainbow Room on Monday, July 11th.

The evening featured music by Chosen Few member Total Entertainment, and Chosen Few member Anthony Taccetta of Anthony Taccetta Event Design provided décor elements to further perfect the Rainbow Room’s beauty. As guests admired the spectacular views of New York City, they enjoyed cocktails and a decadent selection of passed hors d’oeuvres, as well as a waffle bar and Peking Duck station.

Midway through the evening, Katz’s daughter Melissa Rosenbloom and nieces Claudia Warner and Trisha Stern introduced Katz to the guests stating, “What we are proudest of amongst all her great successes is how Harriette has put family in family business first for all these years.” The crowd burst into unwavering applause when Harriette finally took to the floor to welcome her guests and present the new inductees with medallions.

Katz continued on to thank her incredible team for all their hard work and introduced each member of The Chosen Few. After the applause died down, she welcomed Harris Lane of Hank Lane Music & Productions and Brian Dorsey of Brian Dorsey Studios to The Chosen Few family, presenting them with medallions and plaques to honor their membership. Marcus Mordachini of Fusion Productions was unable to attend the event, so friend and colleague Harris Lane accepted the honor on his behalf.
