Announcing Collectors Show / FALL 2016

We’re excited to partner once again with ArtPrize to bring Collectors Show / FALL 2016 to Grand Rapids, Michigan. Collectors Show / FALL 2016 is an exhibition that seeks to forge artist-collector relationships through a three-day showing at the Harris Building (111 Division Ave S) during ArtPrize Eight Preview Week. The artwork on display consists of fifty contemporary artists including thirty past and present ArtPrize artists that are shown along side some of the most famous and influential artists of the last 100 years — all curated by New York-based artist, Grand Haven native, and creator of the Collectors Show, Tyler Loftis.

“The diversity of the past two shows has been extraordinary – age, ethnicity, career level… I believe we’re doing something very exciting and avant guard here,” noted Loftis. “By partnering with ArtPrize we have had the opportunity to show, rather than talk about, our view of what a forward thinking and extraordinary platform ArtPrize really is, for the artists, the collectors, and the public.”

Here is an interview done by Shelly Irwin from WGVU,  Katie Moore from Art Prize and Tyler Loftis about the event: http://wgvunews.org/post/tyler-loftis-two-night-juried-event

Work will be on display and available for purchase, with 20% of the proceeds directly supporting Arts Education programming at ArtPrize in 2017. All artwork will be priced at a guaranteed reduced pricing from certified (or established gallery) pricing.
