It all began when the recipe for a living planet became real, Dr. Diana Roman and Dr. Lara Wagner of Carnegie Science professed in a presentation on the conditions that made life viable on Earth.
Dr. William A. Haseltine’s sound waves vibrated through the space of the Fifth Avenue home he risides in with his wife Eugine asserting, “It is a pleasure to be able to host these presentations from some of the world’s greatest thinkers, and to be a part of these critical conversations about the universe and our place in it. Their discoveries challenge what we think we know and encourage us to approach issues in our own lives differently.” The foundation’s president, Dr. Eric D. Isaacs added, “These salons allow us to engage people in today’s scientific breakthroughs, and to support the work we do. It is a privilege to be able to share these insights here with such esteemed guests.”
Among the guests were Maria Cristina Anzola, Joan Hardy Clark, Fred Doner, Peter Harwich, Mr. and Mrs. Robert D. Hormats, Sara and Hussein Khalifa, Helen Little, and Baron and Lady Moynihan of Chelsea.
