Wines from 11 dollars a glass to bottles of Chateau Neuf – du – Pap for 850 dollars a bottle can be found on the menu. A true sanctuary, “The Table” offers charcuterie and wine pairings where one can savor the flavors of the extensive wine menu.
Celebrating their commitment to the wine list created by Allegra Angelo, Vinya Table offers the longest happy hour in Coral Gables. From 3 to 7 pm every day Gableites can enjoy cocktails like the Chin Chin Tonic and Strawberry Margherita for prices between four and 10 dollars. On Wednesdays live music brings flavor to the long and narrow interior of the rustic restaurant.
To start the night off at Vinya Table it is no doubt enjoyable to experience a glass of their Pierre Cellier House Champagne where a rim of truffle salt can be added for an additional fee. For the young urban professionals flocking to Miami and becoming a member of the Gableites world, the happy hour menu does not disappoint. Manchego Croquetas, Grilled Shrimp Tacos, and Morcilla Spring Rolls, filled with an onion marmalade, are just a few of the tasty treasures offered for those who seek a fun social hour.
When savoring dishes from the menu it is a must to start with the Hamachi Tiradito and the Smoked Burrata featuring rainbow beet carpaccio and pistachio-basil pesto. The presentation adds a fun vibe to the restaurant as the smoked Burrata is presented in a glass arched case where smoke is visible and then released for the nose to smell the succulent flavors of the dish. The prize of the main dishes is the Moroccan Lamb Chops that are herb-panko crusted with charred onion-baba ghanoush and crispy chickpea salad. Homemade pastas melt in your mouth and items from the Vinya Burger featuring Wagyu meat to the Tomahawk steak with black truffle butter are also available. Items from meat to a variety of fish like the Branzino with roasted pepper- coconut cream stew make Vinya Table’s menu versatile for all.
To many, wine creates warmth and good food creates comfort. Vinya Table not only nails this through their extensive selection of wines and cocktails along with their versatile yet delicious menu, but it is their presentation that gives this venue Gabelite charm. The Tableside Tiramisu dessert is perhaps the most fun presentation at Vinya Table. Fresh French press coffee is poured over the bread base of the dessert leading to an organic and crisp flavor of coffee followed by a layering of fresh cream. The dessert is created tableside and is truly tasty. The staff at Vinya Table aims to please. Excellent service creates a feeling of home.
