61st Stony Brook Southampton Hospital Annual Summer Party

On Saturday, August 3rd, the Southampton Hospital Foundation hosted the 61st Stony Brook Southampton Hospital Annual Summer Party under air-conditioned tents in the fields at Wickapogue Road and Old Town Road, Southampton.

The renowned Summer Party is one of the largest fundraising events in the Hamptons, and this year raised over $1.5 million through the generous support of its honorees, donors and guests. The variety of colors and styles it inspires the guests to wear represents the type of function the event performs.

Over 700 benefactors attended in support of the Jenny & John Paulson Emergency Department which is the first Level III Trauma Center on the East End and services the community 24/7, year round. In 2018, the ED had over 21,900 visitors, with almost half those visits occurring during Memorial Day through Labor Day.

This year’s party honored philanthropists Jean & Martin Shafiroffand was emceed by lead news anchor at WNBC Chuck Scarborough. The who’s who of Southampton attended including: Marigay Mckee, CEO and Founder, MM Luxe Consulting, Fern Mallis, Fashion Icon, Rolanda Watts, Actress, and Designers Sachin & Babi Ahluwalia, who were this year’s Fashion Chairs. Other VIP guests also attended the event and enjoyed signature cocktails, sumptuous dining and opulent décor by Lawrence Scott Events with music by Groove Society.

    • Why thank you. There are several people who work on this blog. The majority of content comes from NY PR companies and we put the articles together with content and photographs they send us.
