Lion, the must see drama OUT NOW, is getting quite some buzz from critics, viewers and award shows. The cinematography is amazing, and the directing is excellent thanks to Garth Davis. The movie is based upon the true story of Saroo Brierly, who documented his story and journey in his memoir titled “A Long Way Home,” which gave the basis for this movie. The movie follows Saroo’s amazing accidental journey across India which completely alters his life.
The cast is tops, including: Nicole Kidman, Dev Patel, Roomie Mara, Sunny Pawar, David Wenham, Priyanka Bose and many more.
I have to say this drama was so beautifully filmed and written that I found myself completely engulfed in the story. I was on the brink of tears multiple times and cried multiple times, because this story was so heart felt and so real. The camera angles additionally made me feel as though I was right there along with Saroo, and experiencing all the same things he was.
This movie is all over the award show nominations from the Golden Globes, to Critics’ Choice, to Screen Actor’s Guild, to many more, we are sure to see this movie win in at least one category.
