REAL HOUSEWIVES EAST MEETS WEST AT RAND LUXURY ROLLS ROYCE RIDE & DRIVE

Please, if Saturdays weather is what we get after a rainy Friday, let it rain EVERY Friday because the weather for the busiest Saturday in the Hamptons thus far was PERFECT.

With 13 events on our list, the NY Undressed team really had to put our time management skills into full gear this last weekend. First stop was the Rand Luxury Rolls-Royce Brunch Ride & Drive at the Social Life House in Watermill.

Now a trip to the Hamptons just wouldn’t be the same without your standard dose of reality star lurk-age. Well, apparently the weather was so so amazing it not only brought out the Real Houseweives of New York star Jill Zarin, but it even lured a Real Housewives of Orange County star out of her natural habitat. We caught Tamra Barney and her sexy fiance Eddie Judge staying cool in the shade at the Rolls Royce event while they mingled with other well dressed east enders.

As we were leaving the event the only lingering thoughts that shouted out determining event success were coded in white and grey… if only, if only… all the well clad men taking puffs on Cohiba cuban cigars while juggling glasses of Glenlivet Single Malt(yum) were actually within my age range.

This Saturday the Hamptons social scene is overloaded with benefits, house parties and of course a slew of hibernation worthy daytime barbecues. With all of the goings-on it might be hard to decide which event to lend your gracious presence to. For us, it’s not even a question.

At 6:30 the NY Undressed crew will be heading over to the annual ROCK THE DOCK! Summer Benefit Bash at the Long Wharf waterfront in Sag Harbor. If you’ve yet to lock down your plans please, lend your beautiful face and time to support The Bay Street Theatre.

These are the final days to purchase tickets to Bay Street Theatre’s most important fundraising event of the year. Tickets are available online at www.baystreet.org or by calling Jessica Lemire at 631-725-0818 ext. 129.

The Bay Street Theatre is a not-for-profit institution presenting new, classic and contemporary works with a commitment to challenging and entertaining our diverse community. Not only have they provided quality entertainment to generations but they also offer educational programs for all ages, helping foster the continued value of theatre as a vital art form for future generations.

Past attendees include: Alan Alda, Julie Andrews, Lauren Bacall, Alec Baldwin, Chris Bauer, Joy Behar, Mel Brooks, Kim Cattrall, Chevy Chase, Blythe Danner, Kelsey Grammer, Anne Jackson, Billy Joel, Star Jones, Richard Kind, Nathan Lane, Susan Lucci, Terrence McNally, Rosie O’Donnell, Mercedes Ruehl, Liev Schreiber, B. Smith, Eli Wallach, Naomi Watts and Robert Zimmerman.

The magical evening begins with cocktails and delicious hors d’oeuvres while temptations abound at the silent auction. Single tickets are available as well as tables for 10. The popular, more laid-back lounges are back again this year, but only one remains for purchase. Both offer tapas dining. Music and entertainment are always part of the fun. A special live performance by Tony Award Winner Lillias White, who stars as Maybelle Smith in the theatre’s upcoming World Premiere of BIG MAYBELLE: SOUL OF THE BLUES, is sure to bring down the house. Following the performance, the dance floor will burst with energy when the Hampton’s favorite D.J. Andrea Shapiro takes over. For those who hate to see the night end, there is an ALL NEW after party at B. Smith’s immediately following, where the dancing continues. This year we also see the return of the gift bag, with products from L’Oreal, Colgate, Palmolive and Bai by Snapple among others.

Always a crowd favorite is the Live “Fantasy” Auction. This year an amazing week long trip to St. Barts is on the auction block, with Wimco Villas providing one of their 3 bedroom luxury resort homes. Other items include a 5 day/4 night trip to Four Seasons Resort in Costa Rica Peninsula Papagayo, tickets to some of the hottest Broadway shows WITH backstage tours, a visit to NBC’s Today Show with a ‘meet-and-greet’ with Kathie Lee and Hoda, several rounds of golf at THE BRIDGE golf course and much, much more. PLUS, new this year is Bay Street’s largest raffle ever–a chance at a2012 Mini Cooper Convertible OR $18,000 in CASH! Raffle tickets are available now for $100 at the Box Office. Only 500 tickets will be sold.

JUST WHEN YOU THOUGHT TIMES SQUARE COULDN’T GET ANY FLASHIER

VH1’s favorite botox laden gal has been graced with her own show! I personally try to stay away from too much reality TV (the “Real” housewives usually give me my weekly fill) however, I may have to swap the fake Housewives with “Big Ang” because Big Ang, aka Angela Raiola, is an actual sweetheart.

Fellow Mob Wives stars Carla and Drita came out to support their girl at the Premiere that took place at Trattoria Dopo Teatro in the Theatre District, along with a whole bus load of Italians that looked like they came straight out of Goodfella’s.

Broadway Babes

Despite record temperatures and throngs of young things swarming soho for last minute July 4th weekend outfits, Foravi Soho Re-Opened their doors for a well attended and well catered socialite-worthy fete. Located at 542 Broadway, Foravi has been a soho staple for well over 10 years. Featuring brands such as Kristi Vosbeck and Gomez Gracia, Foravi SOHO has that special piece to put any outfit on the best dressed list.

CREATURES GO COUTURE W/ HEIDI GARDNER

June 13th, the Theatre District had a different kind of theatricality in it’s midst. Trattoria Dopo Teatro, an oasis in the hectic and tourist ridden Times Square, hosted the Fall Launch of Heidi Gardners “Creature Couture”. Heidi Gardner is a stunning 20-something who has an impressive history of 10 years as a professional ballerina. In a “Black Swan” kind of move, Heidi decided being a ballerina wasn’t as fulfilling of a life as she wanted and added another notch to her belt with a fabulously Macabre jewelry line.

Dubbed as Heidi Gardner “Creature Couture” each piece captures the essence of a perfectly crafted character, designed from the depths of Heidi’s imagination.

It’s not summer in the city until the annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic gallops into town. This time, the glitzy all-day event took place at Liberty State Park, with stunning views of both the Statue of Liberty and Manhattan. And the well-shod turned out in force to fete the elite sport of polo with the help of ample amounts of bubbly.

The Veuve Clicquot-sponsored event is known for its well-dressed attendees, champagne-only beverages, and famous faces. Last year, Prince Harry played in the match (which was held on Governor’s Island), but this year he was absent due to his grandmother’s Diamond Jubilee festivities.

REBEKAH LEA DESIGNS

I love it when a designer can be true to their own aesthetic and still satisfy the general public, Rebekah Lea has accomplished this and more.

What I love most about her lines is the choice of stones! I recently got into a crystal kick after reading a MASSIVE amount of information on the benefits of their healing properties. I was pleasantly surprised to find a few I recognized in the Rebekah Lea displays. One of my favs is Golden Rutilated Quartz! Yes please.
